Taylor Swift fans can thank the Haim sisters for her return to social media — at least for one post.

After spending much of the past year away from the spotlight, Swift broke her months-long social media hiatus on May to share her love for HAIM’s lead single Want You Back, the first from their sophomore album Something to Tell You.

“I’m really happy she posted about us!” Alana Haim, one of the band’s three sisters, told USA TODAY. Alana, Este and Danielle Haim traveled with Swift in 2015 on her 1989 tour, and were spotted by Swift’s side at the singer’s Fourth of July party and the 2016 Met Gala.

“There’s such amazing records coming out this summer — I really feel like it’s the summer of women,” she said. “It’s a really special summer and it’s making me feel really empowered. Festival season is going to be crazy, we’re all going to be on the same cycle, probably playing all the same shows. It’s such an honor being in the same crowd as these women, they’re amazing songwriters and musicians, and just beautiful people. It’s a very special time.”

Whether that “summer of women” will also include new music from Swift, who’s only made a handful of…
